an ALTernative

Something is stirring in the world of soulcast :-)

Passions are rising, frustration is felt, a drama is taking place again and you know, although it is a really silly thing, I am feeling something that I havnt felt in a long time.

When trouble stirs in soulcast, we all join together and protect our little world, that feeling, togetherness..  it emphasises that this is our world, not sure how to get across what I am thinking! lol.. bear with me..

I guess what I'm trying to say,  is all of us here, who come in and out of soulcast and give their heart and soul, however often they visit, they are visiting! and by all of us visiting, we create this world, this soulcast world, rahhh my thoughts are way over my head here lol, cant explain it.

Anyways, trouble brings us together, so do occassions, birthdays, celebrations, births,

I like the together feeling :-)

So lets create it with something else other than whether we have alts or not...

What is your favourite memory/experience  from soulcast? and why?

Lets get nostalgic ...

Honestly, my life is dull some times.

Yesterday after that little scuffle for my dignity here at work I made an early escape.  I am helping out with the planning of the company halloween party and it fell to me to pick up the paper plates, napkins, etc.  I took advantage of this chore to leave work and get to the store before all the rest of the bay area was off of work.

I hit Target (big chain of general merchandise) per the suggestion of the person who is in charge of the planning.  She had mentioned that the "good stuff" runs out quick.  I thought she was being a little over zealous, but was surprised to find that even in a store as big as Target I was limited in choice.  I made the best of it, picking through the choices.  Believe it or not, I could only find ONE roll of black crepe paper streamer!!  I will be going to my beloved dollar store at lunch to see if I can shore up the meager finds I was able to purchase.

Then .......

because I was there, I "accidentally" wandered into the clothing section.  I perused the sweaters, but shopping for clothes is always hard given my figure.  I wanted to find a couple of fine gage sweaters that were soft and warm, but short of cashmere which I cannot afford right now there was nothing.  I went to the shoe department to console myself.  It always works.  No black flats for work, but I did find some really cute black knee high boots.  I already have two pair of boots, but can a girl ever really have too many boots?!  I think not!

The weather out here really only makes it neccesary for someone to own one pair.  I have 3 pair now.  Western (brown) and now two pair of knee high black boots.  There is little chance any of them will get worn more than 1/2 dozen times this winter.  In fact, I may have to buy more clothes to go with them!

The shoe department magic worked.  I went home in a much rosier frame of mind than the one I left work in.  Much cheaper than therapy. :)

The past few days, an extraordinary sign has been showing itself to me. My thoughts are consumed with it.

This sign has entered not only in my thoughts but in a dream, daytime images, in the clouds to a book i was reading. The exact same image as the one i have been seeing everywhere. In the book it was a figurehead of a Viking longship, 9th century.

A Dragon is with me. Believe it or not!

I believe a message is trying to be delivered. But what does it mean? A Dragon!

So, i go to my books to understand what is being told to me. I have learned the hard way to stop and listen to the signs. They have been showing theirselves most of my life.

The Dragon is even a part of  Chinese astrology. In the eastern world the Dragon is a sign of supernatural magical powers that bring wealth. In the western world the Dragon is a fire-breathing monster.

In the Wiccan ways, the image of a Dragon means wisdom, power and life.

In my dream books, the Dragon is an enormous boost in your progess towards financial success from a powerful and influential personage.

In ancient times, folks read the future through the stars and planets. In the flights of birds, dreams, signs in the skies to a deer chasing a fox. *smile*

They were trying to connect the magical natural world with their daily journey through life.
 I am too.

Thanks for reading, i needed to share this. Things like this means alot to me.

Have a wonderful weekend. xo Take care ~ see more ...
